In 2017, The Aon Center was looking for opportunities to elevate its brand and heritage. This included the founding of an amenity center. The overall goal was to provide a welcoming space that would serve the building year-round. It would support retention and leasing and offer hyper-local resources for tenants of the hard to reach building. To create a retreat 70 stories up, the Cloud Level concept borrows elements from the dune laden landscape of The Mitten State.
