Open, airy, and spacious; these were the qualities sought in the renovation of this New York loft. As avid collectors, the owners wanted a space that would compliment, not compete with, their diverse paintings and objects d’arte. A neutral color palette for the walls and floor created an open, gallery-like environment within the limited space. Color and texture were layered in the design through furniture, textiles, leathers, and natural fibers while the owners’ personal collections were strategically placed and showcased to add the final sophisticated touches.
