GLP honored the firm’s history and heritage by employing similar finishes as their original offices but detailed in contemporary ways. We emphasized a more open plan and used floor to ceiling glass to fully honor the building’s architecture and allow all employees across its eight floors to enjoy the stunning views of the Chicago skyline and river.
Peter Exley FAIA, in awarding this office as Crain’s Chicago Business’ Coolest Office, lauded the space for its “thoughtful, respectful, high quality and comfortable spaces that make people happy and help them be productive."
