This New York City loft space brings sophistication and fashion together in an open floor plan. The workstations are open to encourage collaborative teamwork, with high ceilings and large windows allowing natural light to permeate through the space.
The biggest obstacle for this project was finding a way to keep the company’s products organized as well as anticipating the need for storage for new items, all while maintaining a simplified look.
A unique element to this floor plan is the existence of a “truck pit” in the warehouse space. GLP transformed this “truck pit” into a multi-purpose room for such business or leisure activities as meetings, yoga, training, or special events. The employee kitchen overlooks this space, creating a separate space where the staff can escape from the office world.
With unique problems and equally innovative solutions, this space provides the necessary organization, simplicity and openness to keep Armani Exchange on the forefront of their industry.
