This international commercial real estate firm was growing fast and needed space for their new office in Chicago. The firm wanted the space, which would reflect their young and energetic culture, to create an impression, be different, and to be easily expandable.
Gary Lee Partners created a vibrant and dynamic office space with an open ceiling, concrete floors, and integrated technology. The clean lines and wood veneer in the internal conference room gave the space a fresh, yet professional sheen. A glass wall overlooking the building’s atrium lined the office’s collaborative workstation area to create a sense of strength and power.
GLP was faced with the challenge of creating a showplace look in the reception area, which shares a wall with a parking structure. Rather than expose the uninspiring views, GLP created a scrim wall with video projections to hide the adjacent building from clients and create the illusion of open space. The result is a unique office with many variations of a common theme.
