e+o Food and Drink is a singular dining experience from restaurateur and celebrity chef Rodelio Aglibot, more popularly known as “The Food Buddha.”
Sharing e+o Food and Drink’s belief that “the relationship between soil and water sustains life,” Gary Lee Partners crafted the interior into a seamless, balanced juxtaposition of simple elements. Broad swaths of color, both deep and mellow, highlight a purposeful selection of honest, essential materials. e+o Food and Drink is sleek and unique, yet approachable for casual, forward-thinking fans of fine design.
The kitchen is viewable from both the dining room and the bar area, making the food preparation a part of the dining experience. The open grillwork screens separating the lounge, main dining, and private dining areas and the fish basket-like lighting fixtures suggest a subtle Asian influence that is felt in the room and on the menu.
The dining experience is influenced by combining simple textures into something that is complex, yet approachable. This effect can be found in both Chef Rodelio’s menu and the interiors.
