A major company based in Asia had retained a design team for its new headquarters complex but the Chairman conducted a worldwide search for a designer for his personal spaces, retaining Gary Lee Partners for this prestigious assignment. Working with the base building architect on the design of the penthouse floor, Gary Lee Partners created a series of spaces designed to accommodate the multi-faceted demands the Chairman required, from ceremonial arrival and reception areas to private office, entertainment, dining, and retreat spaces.

The “best in class” environment was designed to respect the firm’s cultural heritage while acknowledging their position as a global leader in technological advancement and engineering innovation. Gary Lee Partners juxtaposed leading-edge technology with hand-crafted “couture” detail by engaging artists from around the world to create an environment of exquisite beauty reflective of the Chairman’s desire.

Then in 2009 when a new CEO was appointed to take over for the Chairman, the company once again called upon Gary Lee Partners to do a redesign of the space to better accommodate the new CEO’s tastes and work environment needs.
