Gary Lee Partners was enlisted by this private investment firm to refine their image and create a more open office space that better suited their business needs. GLP was able to capitalize on more advanced, built-in efficiencies by recommending that the firm move to a newer Class A building in Chicago.
GLP translated the firm’s image in subtle ways. Our design paid very close attention to their client-facing areas, where our designers created a custom reception desk that can face in multiple directions. We employed specialty wood and glass throughout the area to create an elegant and sophisticated concept that unified several conference rooms, a waiting area and the firm’s board room.
In addition to opening up the office, the client wanted to densify their workstations but ensure that privacy would be maintained. GLP mitigated such concerns by installing frosted glass and determining the optimal height and orientation for all workstations, among other strategies.
The final result was a clean and functional workspace that delivered on the client’s goals and budget.
