An empty-nester couple loved were they lived – the property, the scenery, the neighborhood - but their aging home no longer fit their needs. Instead of moving, they chose to demolish the existing structure and replace it with the home of their dreams. GLP collaborated with a base-building architect to create a new 14,000 SF house from the inside out. Modern detailing blends with traditional sensibilities to create a place that is formal, yet warm, welcoming, and approachable.
